Snake oil? No Way! Beard Grow XL isn't oil at all. It's pills! Ninety little capsules whose daily dose claims to carry the coveted effect of a full and glorious facial bush that's sure to rival the one on Santa himself. Now I haven't tried Beard Grow XL personally--I'm more into the Karate Kid than the Mr. Miyagi look--but those who have seem to be believers, giving it a 4-1/2-star average across nearly 350 reviews on Amazon.
Maker Delta notes their supplement is for men only (uh...sorry, ladies?) and contains a completely natural, non-hormonal blend of follicular turbochargers (my guess is that its primary ingredient is biotin, a standard hair and nail supplement). Men who have thin or patchy facial hair growth have reported their beards thickening and filling in with Beard Grow XL, plus a little patience--a couple of months of taking the capsules. Each bottle contains a 30-day supply.
Warning: As always on Amazon, it is possible reviewers are lying, joking, or being paid as hired hands beards by the supplement manufacturer. I think it's probably safe to assume Beard Grow XL works about as well as any other over the counter hair growth pill, shampoo, or salve out there. The main reason I'm featuring it is out of pure appreciation for the extent to which the world has jumped on the Duck Dynasty and hipster beard wagon.
