The company calls their FireGlobe an "outdoor fireplace," and I'm not sure if there's an actual difference between that and "fire pit," or if the former just sounds more elegant and refined, and worth $500, than the latter. From Cowboy Cauldrons to Freddy Krueger, the FireGlobe certainly isn't as elaborate as some of the other fire pits we've seen, but its minimalist style does make it easy to integrate into a wider range of outdoor spaces.
The FireGlobe also suits smaller backyards, patios, and decks with dimensions of 25.5" x 25.5" x 12.75".
