Christina Hunger created these "Teach Your Dog to Talk" Buttons for her own dog, Stella, a Blue Heeler/Catahoula mix. Through training, and I'd imagine 100 dog years' worth of patience, Hunger says she has taught Stella over 45 words, and that the clever pup can even string them together to communicate in phrases up to 5 words long. Dude! I want that...dog!
Or, I guess, my own dog that can push buttons to talk to me, though I'd really prefer one that's already well versed in the Hunger for Words method before we meet. Even this Talking Pet Starter Set with just 4 dog communication buttons looks like way more work than my laziness and mediocrity can handle.
The buttons included in the Hunger for Words Talking Pet Starter Set are all recordable, so you can choose the words you want your dog to use, and have him / her speak to you in your own voice. That last bit sounds a little creepy-weird to me, but probably your dog won't think so, and hopefully won't try to use the talk buttons as a launchpad to single white femaling you.
The Hunger for Words Talking Pet Starter Set also includes a step-by-step teaching guide written by Hunger herself.
