I was looking up ninja stuff on Amazon because...I'm a dude...and they kept showing me this blender and all of its 1,000 sellers and iterations. And I was like, "Stop showing me this damn effing blender, Amazon! I want to see some swords and free Prime member movies!" But then I looked at the Ninja, and particularly this Ninja Ultima bundle, and decided it was OK that it kept coming up in my search results because it's not a damn effing blender, but an effing awesome comprehensive pulverization system, and now I kind of want one.
I think the Vitamix has been around for something like 50 years now, so high-powered commercial blenders for the home aren't anything new. But Ninja's Ultima Kitchen system throws an 8-cup food processing bowl and a pair of 16-ounce Nutri Ninja single-serving blender cups into the package, both of which I (i.e., my girlfriend, She-Ra: Princess of Power) own separately, with their own bases, plugs, and space requirements. Being able to use the same 1500-watt/2 horsepower engine to drive all 3 canisters would definitely be preferable, as it would free up more room for my boxes of Lucky Charms and Peanut Butter Puffins.
The Ninja Ultima Kitchen System is centered around its 72-ounce blender pitcher, which combines cyclonic blending and high torque TOTAL CRUSHING! technology. Ice and frozen fruit puree to ideal smoothie consistency with ease, and without degrading the blender's effectiveness over time. The food processing bowl can chop and mix ingredients, taking the tears out of dicing onions, whirring together dips and salsas, and making up to 2 pounds of cookie dough in 30 seconds. Also included in the bundle are a dough blade, reversible slicing/shredding disc, and a grating disc that sub in for the processor's cutting blade.
