Dumplings are not on my list of DIY desires for the year - not when I have a papercraft Commodore 65 to build! But if anyone else out there (ahem, Mama) is interested in trying their hand at dumpling creation, this 2-in-1 Dumpling Maker looks to make the most tedious parts of the process, the dough rolling and dumpling sealing, a lot quicker and easier.
If you're making your own dumpling (or gyoza, or empanada) dough, that part is still going to suck. However, once you're ready to shape and stuff your little pockets o' love, the 2-in-1 Dumpling Maker will squish balls of dough into perfect circular discs, and then fold and crimp them shut once you've added your filling. If you're using pre-formed dumpling or wonton wrappers, the seal step of the 2-in-1 Dumpling Maker can do that part alone for you too.
