Sebastian Bergne is responsible for the marriage of utensils writing and rolling, and he created Pencil Dice because, well, he made the connection. Probably after chewing on his pencil and noticing his teeth marks looked like pips. Then he counted the sides. Then he set the pencil down and it rolled right off his desk. How has no one thought of this before?
Pencil Dice are sold by the each, so you'll have to buy a few if you really want to make a game out of them. Bergne also recommends keeping them at your desk and taking a roll of the die to help make decisions. Such as how many tacos you're going to eat for lunch today.
