About The Rotisserie Barrel

A 30-gallon steel drum that envelops roasting meat serves as the foundation for The Rotisserie Barrel. The drum protects the meat from external contaminants, keeps its charcoal-powered flames safe from the wind, and, most importantly, reflects the heat from the charcoal to provide uniform and expedited cooking. In addition, The Rotisserie Barrel has a battery-operated motor that automatically spins your meat-loaded spits to further ensure perfectly tender birds and beasts every time. No flipping, shifting, or even manning the grill required. Just start your fire, secure your meat, turn on the motor, and come back in 30 minutes / 4 beers. Dinner will be waiting.

While designed especially for chicken, The Rotisserie Barrrel can also cook duck, beef, veal, lamb, and pork roasts and rolls. (Sorry, whole-hog lovers, but the barrel is not big enough to accommodate an entire pig.) Meat secures to a 5/16" thick x 37" long rotisserie spit with a set of forks (4 forks total), and the spit sits on top of the rotating motor. The motor runs on 2 "D" batteries, which give it about 36 hours of turn time, or approximately 50 "spitfulls" of roasted meat. Battery operation also means the Rotisserie Barrel can come along to the park, beach, or tailgate with you without concern for whether our not you'll have access to electricity.

The Rotisserie Barrel measures 30" long x 19" in diameter. It comes with:
