You know what they say: when the balls are knockin', Newton's cradle must be rockin'. Fine. They don't say that. But maybe they will once these Newton's cradles with color-changing LED balls take the kinetic sculpture world by storm. The hypnotizing effect of Sir Isaac's classic application of physics gets even hypnotizinger as energy and momentum fluctuate unmoving bright purple spheres from red to blue with nothing more than a little external finger force.

I can't deny it. The effect is fantastic. It took me, like, 45 minutes to write this pile of sentences for no other reason than that the magnificence of the lights and the motion and the lights in motion kept sucking me in. Well, them and the Tater Mitts informercial. Have you seen it? You can peel a potato with your hands!

Newton's cradle LEDs have 3 lighting modes: flash, fade, and color cycle. The desktop gadget is not recommended for children under the age of 14 because they will probably unknowingly do something unsafe with it, such as put the balls in their mouth and get hurt, or stick their fingers between the balls mid-swing and get hurt. Damn 13-year-olds.
