ChonkerKeys - Physical Keys for Controlling Video Calls
ChonkerKeys help prevent some of the "Oops!" of video calls, plus make it easier for participants to access common functions, with giant physical keys that control video and microphone on / off, screen sharing, hand raising, and - everyone's favorite - Leave Meeting. ChonkerKeys are also movable and customizable so you can set your tactile buttons up in the arrangement that suits you, or program new commands into blank keys to suit your specific needs. "Remove Cat Filter" comes to mind.
That time when you thought you were on mute but then you made that nasty comment...or let out that nasty fart. Trying to manipulate your clicker to ask a question when your hands are covered in pasta dough during a virtual cooking class. Driving yourself - and everyone on your call - crazy fuddling around with tiny keyboards or oversensitive touchscreens. These are a few specific situations where ChonkerKeys could be helpful, though the company also believes that WFH and virtual learning are here to stay, and having a set of nice, plush buttons at the ready when you're conducting business via video will make the process more pleasant.
In addition to their size and touch, ChonkerKeys also make it easier to video chat with LED lights surrounding each button to let you know whether or not it's activated. Green means yes, and red means no.
You can learn more about ChonkerKeys for video calls on the product's Kickstarter campaign page, and pledge for a set of your own through September 9, 2021.
