Eggboards had to have come from the mind of an egghead. Someone who wanted to bring all the pleasures of longboarding to a cruiser skateboard that doesn't require schlepping around a 40+" deck. At 19" long x 9" wide, Eggboards are portable enough to strap onto - or slip into - backpacks and bags, stuff inside lockers, or take as carry-on luggage on airplanes.
And according to the Eggboard eggheads, they're just as stable, fun, and "smooooth" to ride.
The Eggboard has a 12" wheelbase, with 7" aluminum longboard trucks, 69mm soft-density wheels, and performance ABEC-9 bearings to provide its stability and silky smooth roll, even over textured terrain and street cracks. The mini longboard's deck is made of bamboo that, according to Eggboards "doesn't chip or crack over time unlike Canadian maple wood." Oh, snap!, Canadians! Guess it's a moot point now whether or not Eggboards ship to Canada.
Eggboard mini longboards come in Street Red, Peeled Red, and Ocean Blue.
