Knox Urbane Pro Mk2 Armored Motorcycle Shirt
Knox's Urbane Pro Mk2 armored motorcycle shirt was made for going commando! Well, up top, and on the outside, that is. Maybe a better comparison would be to say Knox's Urbane Pro Mk2 armored motorcycle shirt was made for going reverse commando! As in, wearing your underwear with nothing over it! Like...nah, forget it. It's a bad analogy any which way. My apologies.
Part of Knox's 2021 collection of armored shirts, the Urbane Pro Mk2 is designed to be worn on rides all by itself, no jacket required. It also builds on previous styles with improved CE performance, and CE approval of its built-in abrasion resistance, which have earned the shirt standalone "Class AA" garment status. This is an upgrade from Class A, one normally reserved for heavier textiles like leather, and the reason riders don't need to wear an outer shell with the Urbane Pro Mk2 unless they want to.
In addition to removing bulk and weight, particularly during hot weather rides, Knox zeroed in on comfort, breathability, and style with the Urbane Pro Mk2 shirt. Despite its cut-, tear-, and abrasion-resistant armor, the motorcycle shirt remains stretchy and ventilated, and stands out more for its high-tech paneled composition and textural color blocks than its hulking presence. It almost looks more like a zip-up for running or hiking than a piece of motorcycle gear.
