POC Shell Coat
POC's Shell Coat, a piece of outerwear made for the ski slopes and fun days of shoveling snow, reminds me we have entered the tricky part of winter. The part where spring is, like, right there, and even officially here if dates are to be believed, but then...the frigid temperatures persist. The grayness lingers. The snow - ah, dudes, the snow. As if a yearly meteorological April Fool's joke, the Mother Nature gotcha! she never grows tired of, the snow falls.
I guess my point is, even if you're hoping you won't need a POC Shell Coat anymore this season, haha, you probably will.
The extra-long Shell Coat is made of multiple layers of DWR-treated nylon fabric, with a 10,000mm water column to add comfort, warmth, and a barrier to colder conditions and wet weather. Made with skiers in mind, POC has reinforced the coat's shoulders for durability when schlepping skis over them, and included radio and ski pass pockets on the chest. The shell also has an ergonomic fit, with pre-bent sleeves and zipped side slits.
Additional pockets in the Shell Coat are roomy enough for bulky gloves and goggles, and the adjustable hood is designed for use with or without a helmet.
