After their zombie gnomes ate most of the rest of the lawn ornaments, artists Chris Stever and Jane DeRosa had to go back to the casting board to create an installation that would return order to the front yard. Meet Ned Bark. Assigned to oversee this unruly and deteriorating game of gnomes, he comes to King's Lawnding from the North of Grassteros with a fair and righteous head on his shoulders. As he sits holding court on his Throne of a Thousand Shovels, we can only hope the zombies of Cannibal Rock are unsuccessful in their plot to snap that head off and indulge in the delicious brains inside it.

Stever and DeRosa first hand-cast their Game of Gnomes: The Throne of a Thousand Shovels in a proprietary cement blend, and then hand-paint and cover it in an outdoor weather sealer to protect its finish.
