KEEGO's forthcoming water bottles are made of 99.8% titanium. Elastic titanium. So it's a metal water bottle that's squeezable. Wha-wha?! How'd they do that?

KEEGO says its flexible titanium is a product of a "ground-breaking production process" that fuses an elastic core and a titanium bottle. They don't go into much more detail since the process is patent-pending, and maybe since the squeezable metal bottle is running as a Kickstarter campaign, they don't really know if it's going to work over the long term. But for now, via images, GIFs, and videos, the KEEGO looks pretty swell.

Photos and videos of athletes from cyclists to basketball players to tennis pros swigging water have largely shown them using squeeze bottles, largely because they're easy to grip and drink from quickly with one hand. Recent health and environmental concerns about plastic, plus the fact that it can make water taste pretty bad, led KEEGO to explore alternatives, and land on elastic titanium.

KEEGO bottles impart none of the BPA or flavor additives to the water they hold, and, the company says, they'll last you for much longer. Titanium being one of the lightest in the metal family, KEEGO bottles also won't weigh you down; they're 4.9 ounces empty. And squeezability and flow rate? Check it out for yourself in the above video.

KEEGO seeks crowdfunding here on Kickstarter through April 24, 2018.
