Breathing Buddha for Guided Visual Meditation
The Breathing Buddha provides guided visual meditations for adults and kiddos alike. If successful, he will hone mindfulness, relieve stress and anxiety, and help you sleep. What a guy! Not to mention a perfect gift to give when you need the same gift for everyone, since pretty much everyone these days lacks mindfulness, is stressed out and anxious, and/or can't sleep for sh-...eep.
The Breathing Buddha does, however, have a downside. He is designed around the 4-7-8 breathing method, wherein you breathe in for 4 seconds, hold the breath for 7 seconds, and then breathe out for 8 seconds. Ha! Hold my breath for 7 seconds? Breathe out for 8 seconds?! I'd be passed out on the floor after 1 cycle!
Though I suppose passed out on the floor is a form of being calm, stress-free, and asleep.
I guess I'm back to my original sentiments about the Breathing Buddha then: what a guy!
